This team is made up of highly skilled, qualified and passionate trainers who bring with them years of experience. In addition, most of this team still actively work in the fitness industry on a day to day basis. This ensures the latest knowledge, trends and know-how is delivered to you as a student.
We often say our trainers are more like ‘coaches’ than teachers, as they all see their role as coaching each student toward their goal of a new career in fitness.
Caroline is an experienced Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Life Coach and facilitator with over 20 years’ experience in fitness, learning and other corporate roles combined.
Caroline is an all rounder in the fitness industry with a specific passion for education and mentoring. She believes quality education and ongoing support is crucial in an ever growing industry and that empowering and supporting new fitness industry employees through the sharing of knowledge and continuing education is the key to creating many healthier and happier lives.
In additional to her current industry and facilitation experience, she holds a degree in Communications, is an accredited Trainer & Assessor, my Certificate III & IV in Fitness as well as a qualified Coach. She has experience working as a PT across a number of gyms each with a different focus, teaches a multitude of group fitness classes ranging from dance based to fitness focussed and also manages a team of instructors as Group Fitness Manager of a large gym. She is also a current classroom teacher with ACSF for on campus students.

Rob is an exercise physiologist with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. He is a partner in ATLETA (www.atleta.com.au) – providing exclusive mobile training services in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. Rob’s experience has led him throughout many areas in the field of health and fitness, from small scale gyms, strength and conditioning coaching and team sport training to large scale corporate fitness centres in a management capacity, as well as living and working in the US in the field of nuclear medicine in a busy cardiology practice.
Rob also teaches the Diploma of Fitness in a classroom setting, as well as contributing as a fitness writer for publications such as AskMen and CLEO. Rob brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, experience and desire to the role of a fitness mentor and tutor.
Currently, Callan operates his personal training business both on the Central Coast and Ultimate Fitness Centre in Sydney CBD. He regularly runs training courses, workshops and an advanced practical mentoring program for Personal Trainers, if required.
Callan’s fitness career has seen him having clients for competitions, endurance events, weight loss, injury rehab and Olympic boxing trials. His specialist training in kettlebells and strength training gives students additional education and coaching, not available through other education providers, putting the student one step ahead of the rest.
Callan provides students with real life experiences, ensuring they are confident and ready to begin their careers immediately after college. Students will gain experience, secure clients and be presented opportunities to impress employers before they complete their course!
With over 10 years’ experience in sport and fitness, Callan has the tools to help students secure their first client, as well as grow a successful business. Students will learn about client screening, and be given hands on experience and feedback on performing and teaching a wide variety of exercises to clients.
Sharon has a friendly, natural and supportive approach to her clients with a strong belief that the key to a balanced life is through a holistic approach to health and fitness. She has a passion for wholefood nutrition having studied a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutrition at the Endeavour College of Natural Health and believes that looking & feeling great comes from the inside out which led her to ongoing study at the Australian Fitness Academy completing a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and continuing her education with a Diploma of Fitness at ACSF. She assists her clients in setting achievable goals, overcoming obstacles and motivates through pushing boundaries. Sharon believes in enjoying yourself whilst training and that training is all about variety and strives to make each session different and fun. Sharon has been involved in the nutrition and fitness industry for the past 6 years. Her continuing role in the education sector includes nutrition seminars, online assessing students studying Cert III & Cert IV in Fitness and lectures Nutrition subjects to Nutritionists and Naturopaths.

Michael Bowen Pain
Mick has worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years as a manager, personal trainer and group fitness instructor. He is passionate about fitness and has an excellent, working knowledge of the industry. In addition to his fitness industry experience, Mick holds a degree in business and Certificate IV in WHS&E.
Mick was first introduced to weight training and gyms as an overweight 15 year old and has never looked back. His greatest personal fitness achievement was winning the Australian Men’s Health Fitness Challenge in 2000.
Jason has always been in the fitness field my entire life through sport. He has been state rugby player through to an MMA fighter. As a result of this background it prompted him to pursue his passion to become a personal trainer in 2011. In that time he has gone on to complete his Strength and Conditioning certification with the Australian strength and conditioning association and then complete the Australian institute of kettlebells master functional trainer system and apprenticeship program to become a presenter of their courses.
He has also developed his own unique kettlebell certification pioneering a whole new training system. He has also recently started a coaching system for personal trainers on how to market their business and successfully help it grow and prosper while running my own private fitness studio.

One could say that Vivien Peer is a veteran in the health and fitness industry. Since her humble beginnings at the age of 18, she has built on a wealth of experience, working across almost every aspect of the fitness industry.
Vivien says that she could not picture her life without fitness, claiming that it was embedded in her DNA since she was a child. She is a fitness professional chameleon, from working as a co-owner of a fitness centre in Coogee, a Fitness First membership consultant to a group instructor for classes in Cycle, Step, Basic, Free Step, Les Mills Pump.
For the last 10 years, Vivien has been a Personal Trainer as well as a franchisee with Fitness First Mosman. Vivien who is always one to push herself, is relishing the chance to work as an online tutor with ACSF as she is eager to pass on her passion and knowledge onto Australia’s future fitness professionals.

Benjamin Duong is a ACSF Tutor with a back ground in a variety of sports, exercise, martial arts and yoga. Upon graduating as a Personal Trainer started at Fitness First Platinum Market St Sydney Gym and was there for over 8 years maintained his successful personal training business. During this time he found an interest in Optimal human function and movement in which he then went back to college to study multidisciplinary natural therapies along side working with many Chiropractors, Osteopath’s, Naturopath’s, Nutritionist, Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists Strength and Conditioning Coaches to get an even better understanding the human body and how it can function at optimal health levels. He has since opened his own health clinic in the Sydney CBD called Active Performance Clinic on Kent Street and is working with other health practitioners like Acupuncturist/ Herbalist, Nutritionist, Naturopath’s,Yoga Instructors, Personal Trainers, and Remedial Massage Therapist specializing in Active Release Techniques, dry needle therapy etc.

Yvonne is an avid adventurer and cycling junkie who gets a buzz out of teaching students, safe and effective exercise that are both engaging and fun. Graduating as an Exercise Physiologist 15 years ago, she brings with her a wealth of experience from the fitness industry. Quizzed on what role she has enjoyed best, Yvonne cites her experience with seniors in health and wellness programs; and clinical experience with clients in cardiac, orthopaedic and spinal rehabilitation programs, as her greatest career highlights to date.
Yvonne currently teaches at the ACSF Perth Campus as well as tutors distance students online. She hopes that through her teaching at the College, students will be enriched by her expertise and be equipped with the skills and knowledge to get out into the workforce and pursue their fitness career dreams.
Jamie McLoughlan aka Fitmidget
Jamie is a competitive ultra-runner who works as a gym owner/manager and Strength and Conditioning Coach (www.360sportsperformance.com.au) in Perth, Western Australia.
She currently coaches everyone from elite level athletes/record holders to beginner gym goers, and assists them in achieving their fitness, strength, and sports performance goals.
Having been in the industry for over a decade, her sporting background includes everything from gymnastics and paintball, to Olympic Lifting, Muay Thai, Bodybuilding and Crossfit. Some coaching or competing at a state, national, and/or professional level. However in most recent years Jamie has found her enjoyment in Ultra Running and endurance sports.
Over the last few years Jamie has run marathons and ultramarathons in 4 different continents, even placing seventh at her last international trail running event in Africa. Jamie’s next goal is to compete in her first 100km event in March 2016.
Jamie also looks to continue her qualifications in Strength and conditioning to be able to further help the high level athletes she trains and supports. She regularly runs practical workshops on health based subjects such as motivation, recovery techniques, running, and nutrition to better advise others of the different aspects of health and lifestyle to compliment their fitness goals. She remains dedicated to being a hands on coach by often volunteering her free-time to run with clients on their first half -marathon or marathon, or by working as their support crew at events so they may race and perform at their best.
